How to Setup Fulfillments

Setting up your pickup and in-house delivery integrations is now easier than ever.

The time is here- we have just released our newest version of in-house fulfillment software within our Admin Dashboard! These new features will make setting up your pickup and in-house delivery integrations and managing them easier than ever.

You can easily enable pickup at any of your locations, all in one place. The in-house delivery tab also received a complete overhaul and now gives you the control to enable the option to offer delivery when you’re ready, without ever having to call the Ordrslip team. This guide will go over everything you need to know to start using the new and improved in-house fulfillment options in the Admin Dashboard.

Enabling Pickup in the Admin Dashboard

When you log into your Admin Dashboard, things might look a little different. This guide will help walk you through these new updates. We’ve added a new tab in the side navigation called “Integrations”. Enabling and disabling Pickup and In-House Delivery now live in the “Integrations” tab.

Lets go over how to add Pickup to a new location in the Dashboard:  Click “Integrations” in the navigation, then “Pickup” and “Add New” at the top of the table.

The toggle will automatically be set to “Enable Pickup”. You can then search for the location where you’d like it offered.  Once you have the location selected, simply Save Changes and this location will now display the Pickup option in your app.

How to Setup In-House Delivery for your Locations

The same process is set up for In-House Delivery. Go to “Integrations”, then “In-House Delivery”. Here, click the “Add New” button at the top of the table.

The In-House Delivery toggle will be set to “Enabled”, but this time you’ll need to fill in a few more fields. First, you’ll need to decide if you’d like to offer delivery by Radius or Zip Code. If it’s by radius, set the miles away from your location you’re willing to drive- If it’s by zip codes, enter the zip codes you want to cover. Next, add in your delivery fee and the minimum subtotal that qualifies for a delivery order. Finally, search for the location you want delivery enabled and Save Changes.

If you want to edit a location with pickup and/or in-house delivery already set up, hover over the integration tab and click “Edit”. The same pop-up will show and you can edit the information right there. Just make sure to click “Save Changes” when you have finished editing.

Best Practices

Once you have enabled pickup or in-house delivery for your location, it’s vital to make sure you have a menu that is “active” at your location.

If no menus are enabled at your location but the location itself has pickup or delivery enabled, the location will not show up in the app. Always make sure that once an integration is enabled, a menu should also be enabled at that same location. This can be found at the bottom of the specific Menu name you want active in the “Menus” tab.

In-house fulfillments are the start of many new features being implemented  to help make managing your own mobile ordering app simple and seamless.  The Admin Dashboard will give you the independence and power to make the changes you need to manage your restaurant’s take-out options.

Now that you have set up your first pickup and in-house delivery integration you can share the news with your customers and start receiving orders with your new app, powered by Ordrslip.
